purchased a Tesla car near the White House on Tuesday afternoon at an event featuring Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Addressing reporters, Trump informed Musk that he would issue a check to cover the entire cost of purchasing the Tesla Model S.
“I prefer receiving a check over this contemporary system where suddenly there’s money in your account,” Trump stated. “I enjoy signing checks!”
I realize he would offer me a reduction, but frankly, I prefer not to request it,” Trump said to the press group. “After all, being the president, I feel inclined to pay the entire amount.

Prior to buying the car, Trump stated that his primary motivation was due to the fact that the Tesla automobile was “an excellent product, top-notch.”

“Secondly, because this individual [Elon Musk] has dedicated his efforts and his existence to pursuing this,” Trump went on to say.
The GOP member continued to commend Musk, stating that he has been “unjustly mistreated by a rather small group of individuals.”
I simply want everyone to understand that he cannot face penalties for his patriotism,” Trump stated. “He is a tremendous patriot. Additionally, he has performed remarkably well with Tesla.
Trump also verified that he wouldn’t take the vehicle for a test drive, stating that although he “enjoys driving cars, he isn’t permitted to,” and mentioned that he purchased a Cybertruck for his granddaughter Kai as well.

Musk expressed gratitude to Trump for his backing, conveying to the president that it was deeply appreciated.

These are entirely innocent people who haven’t done anything wrong.
