Tommy’s Tavern revealed details about the upcoming local opening via an Instagram post recently. The announcement featured a colored illustration showcasing what the 6,298-square-foot dining and drinking space would look like once completed. This establishment forms part of Wayne Towne Center, a vast retail hub led by Costco Wholesale as one of its main attractions.

Teams were spotted at the location recently. The structure was covered with plywood—apparently preparing for some renovations.

As work progresses, the
Planning Board
is set to review an application for external enhancements to the structure during a public meeting scheduled for March 24. The submission includes plans for adding parapets along with constructing a 30-foot tower to enhance the architectural features of the building.

The largest feature at Tommy’s Tavern is the impressive near-33-foot bar. Known primarily for its extensive beer selection, the Clifton location along Route 3 west—formerly a Fridays establishment—boasts an array of twenty-four drafts on offer. Many of these brews originate from local craft breweries in Passaic County.

The story continues beneath the Instagram post.
