The Meteorological Service announced on Sunday that Sunday’s heatwave broke Israeli temperature records set for the first half of March and is expected to continue tomorrow.
Eilat experienced a high of 37°C today, surpassing the earlier record from 2004.
In Kfar Blum located in the Hula Valley, today experienced the highest temperature recorded over the past 12 years.
